Now that I don't work at Goodwill, I seem to be able to find all sorts of buys! 10 years in their Job Training department and nothing to buy! Now, loads but I'm still trying to save $.
I found two panels of this wonderful vintage fabric. It has a chartreuse green background and white flowers in grays and teals.

It is astoundingly bright for old fabric. Once I got them home, I realized they had pockets sewn in them and they were curtains. Originally, I was going to I'm going to slipcover the front room furniture in white and I thought pillows or runners of this material would look great. Amazingly though, they are same height as my white tab curtains. I added them to the rod on the ends. Here's how they look.

I've seen this look in several magazines recently. I like the "frame" the darker curtains create. I will enjoy them this way for a bit. They have a "Grandma Margret" feel to them!
